It’s always raining dachshunds! We need foster homes to give these deserving dogs a temporary home until they can be adopted. Without enough foster care space we’d have to leave dogs in shelter care or turn them away from our rescue- too heartbreaking to even consider!
If you are not in a position to adopt and give a dog a permanent home, but would love to help, becoming a foster parent might be the solution. Depending on the situation you might have your foster doxie for a few weeks, to a few months. You can let us know your experience level and your time commitments. We’d be grateful for the help. Offering these dogs a loving temporary place to rest their heads while we find them a forever home is a wonderful thing to do. And so needed too as it’s so important to get them out of the situations they are in (shelter etc).
